P.O.S.T. for Correctional Officers. Mr. Munyon is originally from the state of Michigan.  Additionally, Mr. Munyon A.K.A. MSgt Munyon is enlisted in the United
States Air Force where he is a member of the Air Force Security Forces. His plans are to retire from the Air Force and then teach martial arts full time in
Oscoda, Michigan.

Publications:

Mr. Munyon has been in numerous newspapers in Kuwait, South Korea, Montana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, and California for his contributions to the
martial arts and his community. Also, Mr. Munyon has been in Sports Karate International Magazine (Issue #51 in 1995) and numerous issues of Tae Kwon
Do Times Magazine. The American Forces Radio/Television Network conducted a story on Mr. Munyon for all his work he has done for the military and for his
position as the Armed Forces Director for the United States International TaeKwon-Do Federation (US-ITF)

Certifications:

In 1996, Mr. Munyon received his rated Instructor and Umpire/Referee certification from the USA-Korean Karate Association. Was also selected to be the
Michigan State Representative for the USA-KKA in 1996-1997.  Selected once again as the Nevada State Representative in 1998-1999.  While stationed at
Kunsan Air Base in South Korea, Mr.Munyon was appointed by Master Robert Wheatley, President of the United States International Tae Kwon Do
Federation as the Armed Forces Director for the USITF. Due to his affiliation and training, Mr. Munyon can issue world-wide recognized rank through the
International Tae Kwon Do Federation.  Mr. Munyon has also completed several; International Instructors Courses hosted by Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa,
President of the Do, General Choi Hong Hi.
In 2013 Mr. Munyon earned his 4th Degree Black Belt and Master Instructor title through Senior Grand Master Hee Kwan Lee and the Global HapKiDo
Association.

Master Munyon trained in HapKiDo in Great Falls, MT from 1995-1996 at the Jade Dragon Karate Academy.
While stationed at Kunsan Air Base 2002-2003, Master Munyon trained under Grand Master Oh, 8th Dan in Kuk Sool HapKiDo
Upon returning from Korea Master Munyon continued his HapKiDo training under Grand Master J.R. West in Jackson, MS.
In 2012 to 2013 Master Munyon Trained under Grand Master Chang Young Sil at Osan Air Base.
While in Korea, Master Munyon teamed up with Senior Grand Master Hee Kwan Lee and joined the Global HapKiDo Association.

Other Achievements:
Mr. Munyon has competed in numerous martial art tournaments all over Michigan, Montana, California and Mississippi and won literally dozens of
trophies and medals for his skills. During Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Mr. Munyon taught (free of charge) martial arts to the
troops at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia and Ali Base, Iraq. Mr. Munyon received a letter of appreciation from the
Services Commander for all of his volunteer work and assisting the military to stay mentally and physically prepared for war. Mr. Munyon received the Military
Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal for teaching martial arts to military members all over the U.S.A. and overseas. To qualify for this you must have a
minimum of 500 hours of volunteer work. Mr. Munyon exceeded that by twice the needed time. Hand selected as the 81 Security Forces Defensive Tactics
Instructor along with teaching members of the 81 Training Wing Rifle Fighting during their Pre-deployment training. Currently Mr.Munyon also authors articles
on a regular basis for Totally TKD Magazine.  The board of Grand Masters and Masters of the Masters Hall of Fame inducted Mr. Munyon for his
contributions and longevity in the martial arts.  While at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, Master Sergeant Munyon received recognition coin from the base commander
for his Women's Self Defense clinics.  In 2013, Master Munyon competed and medaled in the Korea Moo Moo Kwan HapKiDo World Championships.
