Everyone deserves an equal opportunity in life. We are all special in one way or another.
Taekwon-Do has continued to change and impact on many peoples lives globally. We want to see
more with intellectual and physical disabilities taking part. We as Instructors understand through
consistent effort and care we can achieve anything. Through positivity we as instructors start to
see progress over time with the developments of increased cardiovascular fitness, flexibility,
coordination, confidence, self defense, discipline, overall health and well being.
We as instructors need to make it our duty to become more involved in society and support more
special needs students being included into what is known today as ‘Special Needs Taekwon-Do’
If you are an instructor interested in becoming a part of the Special Needs Taekwon-Do
Internationally, make contact today and help us to achieve our goals of making a difference in the
lives of the special needs community.
What is Special Needs
We use the term above to help describe
those who have either an intellectual or
physical disability. We are including
those with disabilities in society into an
art extremely life changing with a vast
level of health and well being benefits.
There is no focus on the aggressive fighting.
Who Am I? What’s my role? Why Special Needs
Hey! Ben Evans here! I’m the Special Needs Taekwon-Do
director. My role is to help all Taekwon-Do Instructors worldwide
succeed. I’ve built a website to enable great opportunities for
those with an intellectual or physical disability using Taekwon-Do!
This resource centre is open to all Taekwon-Do Instructors
interested in exploring an important aspect of coaching for all
members of society.
By educating Taekwon-Do Instructors allowing them to learn
more strategies, improve their confidence & be able to work with
a wide range of abilities.
